Basic information, features, and operating principle
Introduction
The water leak control unit can monitor a dual-core liquid leak sensor cable up to 1,500 meters in length. It can be used with a detection cable or with compatible probes. When liquid is detected, the unit emits an audible and visual alarm and activates the relay to close a voltage-free contact. A robust and cost-effective system can be built using several independent sensor cable segments.
This product can be used as a standalone unit for leak detection and alarm activation, or it can be connected to other integrated units for data collection. It is suitable for the immediate detection of leaks in equipment rooms, telecommunications stations, warehouses, libraries, museums, and industrial sites, as well as in air-handling units, refrigeration units, liquid containers, pump sumps, and other equipment that require leak monitoring.

Operating principle
The water sensor relies on the electrical conductivity of the liquid. When a leak occurs, the liquid comes into contact with the probe electrodes or the connectors of the leak-sensing cable, closing the detection circuit and activating the alarm circuit. The main unit emits an audible and visual alarm and outputs a switching signal. After the liquid is removed, the circuit opens and the alarm resets automatically or manually.

When the voltage of 220 or 380 volts is controlled, the contactor of the ac will have to be added. If not, the damaged product is not covered by the security.

Installation on DIN rail
The built-in leak detection unit is installed on a 35mm wide DIN rail, and can be installed in a railway box or electric control panel.
The drawing shows the width of the parties 26mm, the height of the unit 108mm and the thickness of the console 60mm.
Accessories delivery and installation needs
Product use scheme
The device needs to be used with leak detection accessories set. The set covers a non-locator leak sensor cable, a non-locator cable, adhesive installation clamps, and an end end to the site detection cable.

Installation position picking
Select a position where the unit is not exposed to extreme natural environment, temperature caps or heavy vibration. This product can be installed on a standard 35mm wide DIN rail.
If there is space on the rail inside an electric box or an old measuring device box, it can be used for installation of the unit. A short section of the DIN rail can be installed right on the wall or on the surface of the box and then installed on it, making sure that the installation does not lead to the possibility of tripping over it.
The unit needs to be installed so that the length of the connection cable between it and the main unit of the control system does not go beyond 1500 meters. If the length is over 1500 meters, check with the manufacturer how to increase the delivery distance.
Note: in order to prevent injury of the console, keep the device in its original packaging and open it only when ready for installation.
